NFL 2008 - Week 4 Picks

After the first three weeks in my Yahoo pick’em league, I have accrued a record of 30-17. So here are my picks for Week 4.
New Orleans over San Francisco - too early to tell if the Niners are for real. This game and then playing host to the Patriots should tell us a lot about this club.
Arizona over New York Jets - I’ll go out on a limb and take the upset. The Jets didn’t look awful against the Chargers, but the Cardinals are working some early magic.
Cincinnati over Cleveland - I want to pick the Browns, but they simply have not looked very good. The Bengals could have won that game against the Giants, so take them at home.
Green Bay over Tampa Bay - Another mini-upset. The Packers got brought back down to earth, but the Bucs are not going to last on the arm of Brian Griese. The running attack was woeful in Week Three, and that’s what they need to win games,
Carolina over Atlanta - The Falcons are off to a surprising start, the Panthers are simply a better club.
Tennessee over Minnesota - The Vikings’ woes continue as the tough Titans’ defense will take control of another game. This was the reason why I picked the Titans to do so well this season.
Houston over Jacksonville - Further out on the limb. The Jags got an emotional victory over the Colts last week on a last second field goal. The Texans, while not a great team, really aren’t this bad. Look for them to nail the game-winner at the end.
Denver over Kansas City - If you are Denver, sometimes you’d rather be lucky than good. Kansas City is neither.
San Diego over Oakland - The Chargers will get back to .500 with this win.
Buffalo over St. Louis - Forget the problems the Bills had with the Raiders; this is the Rams we’re taking about. You know, this year’s repeat of last year’s Dolphins…
Dallas over Washington - The Skins are a good team playing in the wrong division.
Philadelphia over Chicago - The Bears are favored, but the Eagles should have enough firepower to get by. Are the injuries going to start playing a factor for the Eagles again?
Pittsburgh over Baltimore - Someone tell Cinderella that it’s midnight.
