Remember, Remember, the Fifth of November
The Gunpowder Treason and Plot
I know of no reason why the Gunpowder Treason
Should ever be forgot… (V for Vendetta)
This day is not a holiday to most people, but it is certainly one of my favorite personal holidays.
The movie V for Vendetta is a remarkable film, and is unfortunately too reminiscent of where our society is headed. This movie has helped light my own rebellious fire and helped me to understand that sometimes reasonable people have to resort to very unreasonable measures.
With that said, this 5th of November is a very special one for me, since I have chosen to begin my weight loss for charity effort today, lasting for the next six months.
Some of our rebellions are directed at society, and some at ourselves. And for now, I need to get my own personal house in order. Wish me luck!

Now this day is the 5th of november,
and look at what we have got.
for this day we will always remember,
the change for america was fought.
on this 5th of november in 2008,
the white house is no longer set to one race.
obama is in and bush is out,
so everyone gather and give a big shout,
because on this 5th of november
we will always remember,
that change is forever.
